SERVICES
Parish of Christ Church has 6 different services every Sunday
to cater to a vast group of people with different languages.
The Tamil service begins with a call to worship, followed by a choir procession while singing the opening hymn. Following the prayers of penitence, prayers of confession, the absolution and Bible Reading, there is a session of Praise and Worship. After this, the gospel reading is heard. The gradual hymn is then sung in preparation for the sermon. The faith of all believers is re-affirmed by the reciting of the Nicene Creed together. After intercessory prayers and announcements, the service moves on to the Ministry of the Sacrament (Holy Communion). During communion, the choir sings a few soft and soothing Christian hymns/anthems. After the communion, the benediction is given by the Vicar. A grand closing hymn is sung, followed by the choir and lay recession.
